Fears of foot - and - mouth soothed

Burgersfort - Ministry of agriculture, forestry and fisheries has provided Limpopo farmers and there was no outbreak of disease very contagious foot - and - mouth disease in the region of the great Tubatse livestock owners.

Vutula added that veterinary authorities have confirmed the results of laboratory.
Foot - and - mouth disease is a serious, highly contagious viral disease captured mainly cattle and pigs, although it may also affect sheep, goats and other cloven-feathered Dove-hooved animals such as deer and camels.
The virus can be spread by animals, people or materials put into physical contact with susceptible animals.
In the month of August, the Ministry reported an outbreak in the area of Gravelotte farm private Malati.
